The number of Covid-19 cases in Gujarat crossed the 4,000-mark with 308 more people testing positive for coronavirus, a health department official said. The total number of the Covid-19 cases in the state now stood at 4082. With sixteen more persons succumbing to the Covid-19 disease, the death toll has risen to 197, the official said. Total 137 deaths in Ahmedabad so far and 2777 cases so far. Out of total 3358 active cases, the condition of 34 patient is serious and they are on ventilator support while 3324 are stable and 93 persons recovered from the infection and given discharge in the last 24 hours, she said. Till now 527 cured/ discharged.
