The state government has issued guidelines about the night curfew in four major cities of Gujarat. The night curfew time has been reduced to 11 pm to 6 am until February 15 in Gujarat. The decision comes in the wake of COVID cases going down in the state and the beginning of the vaccination drive. Halls, banquet halls, auditoriums, community halls, town halls, community halls etc closed places can now host gathering in limit of half of its capacity for social, religious, entertainment or other functions. Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs) will need to be followed.Wedding/reception functions will be allowed in capacity of maximum 200 persons and not more than 50 per cent of capacity of the place. Online registration for organizing marriage function through digitalgujarat.gov.in will be mandatory. Funeral and post-death events will be allowed for maximum 50 persons. Related Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs) will need to be followed.
