The Gujarat high court on Monday quashed the state government’s diktat prohibiting export of livestock from Kutch’s Tuna port. A division bench of Justice Harsha Devani and Justice Bhargav Karia junked the state government’s notification issued on December 14 banning the export of livestock from Gujarat shores. The HC trashed the notification in response to a petition filed by exporters.
