Analysis of the deaths reveal that it took Gujarat 45 days, compared to 53 days by Maharashtra, to cross 400 deaths mark. Likewise, the first 100 fatalities in Gujarat recorded each death against 23 Covid-19 patients. The rate in last 100 cases has come down to one death per 11 patients. Thus, the death rate has got doubled from 4.27% in first 100 deaths to 8.77% in last 100 cases.
