On June 11 the GST Council will meet for the 16th time chaired by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and comprising state counterparts, to review some of the rates on which industry has expressed displeasure and amend the draft rules. Various industry associations have sought a review of the tax rates which are much higher than present level of taxation.
