Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday said that both the Centre and states levy taxes on fuels as they are 'resources' that can help in reviving the economy, especially after COVID-19. "Due to (the) rise in international fuel prices, India also had to increase fuel prices but it's temporary, gradually they will be brought down," he added.
