Congress alleged that government's use of Israeli spyware Pegasus put a dent in democracy after a Supreme Court-appointed panel said that the Centre did not cooperate during the probe. Congress spokesperson Gourav Vallabh asked why a spyware primarily used against terrorists was used by the government to weaken democracy. "I hope the Supreme Court will take strict action," he added.
