The Aadhaar numbers of 13.5 crore people relating to four government projects may have been made public through government websites, according to Bengaluru-based think tank Centre for Internet and Society's report. The report says around 10 crore bank account numbers have also been leaked through these portals. It blamed the lack of proper controls exercised by departments for the leak.
