The government has added 'testing on demand' in its new guidelines for COVID-19 testing. Under the 'testing on demand' section, government mentioned "individuals undertaking travel to countries/Indian states mandating a negative COVID-19 test, and all individuals who wish to get themselves tested". However, government said that state governments have the freedom to decide on simplified modalities.
