Days ahead of US President Donald Trump’s visit to Ahmedabad, a Bengaluru-bound flight suffered a bird hit minutes after take-off from the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) airport. The hit triggered fire in the aircraft’s engine forcing GoAir flight G8-802 to abort take-off and deplane 171 passengers with three infants on board.
