Goa CM Pramod Sawant on Sunday announced that the COVID-19 curfew in the state has been extended till August 23. The curfew was supposed to end on August 16, as per earlier orders. Sawant has said that Goa is the first state in India to administer at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to 90% of its eligible population.
