Goa Congress has removed Michael Lobo as the Leader of Opposition with immediate effect, AICC Goa In-charge Dinesh Gundu Rao announced on Sunday. "A conspiracy was hatched by some of our own leaders with BJP to see that the Congress party in Goa is weakened and to engineer defections," Rao said. He said Lobo and Digambar Kamat led the conspiracy.
