French president Emmanuel Macron has tested positive for Covid-19, becoming the latest world leader to be diagnosed with the illness. Mr Macron was diagnosed after experiencing symptoms, said the Elysée Palace in a statement on Thursday. The president will isolate himself for seven days and “will continue to work and carry out his activities remotely”.
