Ilaben Bhatt, the founder of SEWA Sanstha, has passed away. He was hospitalized for a long time. He breathed his last at the age of 89. Notably, he received awards like Ramon Magsaysay Award in 1977, Right Livelihood Award in 1986 and Padma Bhushan. He also did many works for the employment of women.
