Former UP Shia Waqf Board chief, Wasim Rizvi, converted to Hinduism on Monday and was rechristened as Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi at Dasna Devi temple. He embraced Hinduism in presence of the head priest and called Sanatan Dharma the "purest religion in the world". This comes after controversy over his recently released book 'Muhammad' that was allegedly offensive to Islam.
