According to health ministry data, five states account for more than 43 per cent of the total number of coronavirus vaccine doses administered in India. These five states are Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and West Bengal. Of the total 7,59,79,651 vaccinations carried out in India till now, 3,33,10,437 were administered in these five states.
