The first consignment of the Covid-19 vaccine has arrived at Ahmedabad's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. Stock of 2,76,000 doses of vaccine against Covid19 arrived today in Air India flight from Pune based Serum Institute of India, at Sardar Patel international airport. A refrigerated van full of vaccine was flagged off by Deputy Chief Minister, MoS Home, Health Secretary and others for Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad Central Storage Depot based cold facilities where vaccines will be kept safely. First phase of vaccination will start from January 16 at 287 booths across the State.
