A fire broke out in a warehouse near the Abu Baker Al Siddique metro station in Dubai. The fire started in three cars parked near the warehouse which then spread to the building. The Dubai Civil Defence operations room received the information about the fire at about 12:25 pm and the brigades from the Port Saeed fire station were immediately rushed to the site. The firefighters from other stations including Al Hamriya and Al Rashidiya also joined in, to battle the warehouse fire.

Spokesperson of the Dubai Civil Defence, Mahmood Hamad informed that the firefighting operation is still going on and no cases of injuries and suffocation have been reported so far.
