A fire has broken out at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. The fire has reportedly broken out on the first floor of the country's premier hospital. A team of the fire brigade was rushed to the hospital and has reached the spot.
Sources say the fire was caused due to a short circuit. Rescue operations are on. As many as 50 patients have been evacuated. Unconfirmed reports say the fire broke out near the emergency department. There are no reports of anyone being injured in the fire so far.
