The Election Commission has declared the final results of Uttar Pradesh Assembly election, with BJP winning 255 of 403 assembly seats in the state. While BJP will return to power in the state, Samajwadi Party secured 111 seats. Congress won two seats, BSP won one and Apna Dal (Soneylal) won 12 seats.
