Another round of talks between district officials and farmers protesting over a police lathicharge failed on Wednesday and the protesters said they'll continue their sit-in outside the Karnal mini-secretariat. The farmers' demands centre around IAS officer Ayush Sinha's suspension. Sinha was caught on tape allegedly telling policemen to break the heads of farmers during their August 28 protest.
