Mehndi fame actor Faraaz Khan who was battling for his life in a Bengaluru based hospital after suffering brain infection has died. He was 46.The late actor’s condition first came to light after actress and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt asked her followers to help raise funds for Faraaz’s treatment. A fundraiser was started by the late actor’s family members Farhad Abousher and Ahmed Shamoon in October to raise Rs. 25 lakhs for the treatment.

Sharing the news of his demise Pooja Bhatt wrote on twitter, “With a heavy heart I break the news that #FaraazKhan has left us for what I believe, is a better place.Gratitude to all for your help & good wishes when he needed it most.Please keep his family in your thoughts & prayers.The void he has left behind will be impossible to fill.”
