The DDMA issued guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID-19 during festivities stating that fairs, food stalls, jhoolas, processions, exhibitions and rallies won't be allowed during festivals till October 31. All event organisers will require the District Magistrate's permission. In a closed space, a maximum of 50% of the hall capacity will be allowed, with a ceiling of 200 persons.
