The home ministry has said that Rs 4 lakh will be paid as ex-gratia to the families of the people who lose their lives due to the novel coronavirus. The help will also be extended to those involved in relief operations or associated in response activities. As of now, 83 confirmed cases have been reported across India. Two deaths due to Covid-19 have also been registered in the country. Additionally, movement of foreigners via land borders have also been restricted. No visa is being issued till April 15.
