Former Congress leader and MLA from Koraput constituency Krushna Chandra Sagaria joined Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in the function organised at Lower PMG in Bhubaneswar today.
Earlier Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) on January 19 expelled Krushna from the primary membership of the party for his alleged anti-party activities.
After joining Sagaria said that, “I simply wanted constitutional rights for fellow SC, ST and OBC citizens”. There are 54% OBC people here, so I wanted Congress to take up their fight but they expelled me without giving me any proper reason. So I know BSP will fight for this so I join party.
