Former BSF jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav joined Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) from Haryana on Sunday in presence of its leader Dushyant Chautala. Yadav was dismissed from service in 2017 after he had released a video on the quality of food served to soldiers. Yadav unsuccessfully attempted to contest Lok Sabha polls against PM Narendra Modi from Varanasi constituency in 2019. Tej Bahadur Yadav will contest the Haryana assembly polls against Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
