Former Andhra Pradesh Minister Pydikondala Manikyala Rao succumbed to coronavirus on Saturday. The senior BJP leader was undergoing treatment for coronavirus at a private hospital in Vijayawada, where he was shifted just a week ago. Before that he was admitted to a dedicated COVID-19 hospital in Eluru and he had been on a ventilator for the past few days.
