A 16-year-old student allegedly died by suicide as he fell short of passing marks in two subjects in the CBSE Class-12 exams in east Delhi's Laxmi Nagar area on Monday, the police said. The boy was identified as Arjun Saxena, hailing from Uttar Pradesh’s Etawah and living in a paying-guest accommodation on rent.
The student was depressed after failing in two subjects, the police said, however, adding that no suicide note has been found from the spot.
