The Election Commission of India has announced the dates of upcoming Assembly elections in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram today. As per the polling schedule Chhattisgarh will vote in two phase. The state would go to polls on Nov 12 & 20, whereas voters of Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram would exercise their right on Nov 28. The EC has set December 7 for polling in Rajasthan and Telangana. Counting for all 5 state elections would held on 11 December.
