A high level, 11-member team lead by Chief Election Commissioner OP Rawat will be reaching Hyderabad this afternoon to review election preparedness of poll-bound Telangana. The team will be on a three-day visit. Telangana is scheduled to go to polls on 7th December. Mr Rawat, along with Election Commissioners Sunil Arora and Ashok Lavasa will be meeting the representatives of various political parties this evening to take their feedback. The Commission will also meet police nodal officers on the first day of its visit. The Commission will also hold a crucial meeting with the District Electoral Officers and Police Superintendents tomorrow to review the arrangements in detail. The team will also meet senior officials of Income Tax, Excise, and Enforcement agencies besides transport, railway and airport authorities before leaving for Delhi on Wednesday.
