The Delhi High Court on Saturday accepted the Enforcement Directorate’s plea to be allowed to question AAP leader Satyendar Jain without the presence of a lawyer in connection with a money laundering case. “Since there is neither any FIR nor a complaint against the respondent [Jain], thus he cannot as a matter of right claim to have the presence of his lawyers during the course of recording of his statement,” the bench of Justice Yogesh Khanna said.
