The Election Commission of India (ECI) imposed a 24-hour campaigning ban on West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee for her "highly insinuating" and "provocative remarks". She won't be allowed to campaign from 8 pm of April 12 till 8 pm of April 13. ECI said her remarks have "serious potential" to lead to a breakdown of law and order during elections.
