The Election Commission (EC) on Monday decided to delete 111 political parties from its register that were found to be "non-existent" during a verification exercise. Any registered unrecognised political party (RUPP) aggrieved by the decision can approach the CEO concerned within 30 days, the EC said. Earlier this month, the EC had deleted 87 such political parties from its register.
