The Election Commission has issued a notice to former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath for referring to BJP minister Imarti Devi as an "item" during a poll meeting. The commission has asked Kamal Nath to explain his stand in the next 48 hours. The National Commission for Women had also sought an explanation from Nath over his comment.
