An earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale struck Bihar at 9.23 pm on Monday, the National Center for Seismology said. The epicentre of the earthquake was 20 km northwest (NW) of Nalanda. The quake struck at a depth of 5 km from the surface and tremors were reportedly felt in the capital city of Patna as well.
