The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has inked 1,464 'transfer of technology' agreements to date with Indian companies, MoS Defence Ajay Bhatt has said. The DRDO is working towards self-reliance in the defence sector, he said. The minister also said the government is looking to collaborate with a foreign engine company for the co-production of combat jet engines.
