The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on Monday said that it successfully conducted trials of the enhanced range Pinaka rockets at Odisha's Balasore and Rajasthan's Pokhran in the past few weeks. The successful completion of the trials is a further step in the direction of the Indian government's 'Make in India' initiative in the defence sector, DRDO officials said.
