Bharatiya Janata Party MP Pragya Singh Thakur made the second apology in the Parliament in just two hours. In her second apology, Thakur said that she never took Nathuram Godse’s name and didn’t refer him as a patriot. "On November 27, during a discussion on Special Protection Group (Amendment) Bill, 2019, I did not call Nathuram Godse a 'deshbhakt'. I did not even mention his name. I apologise again if I have hurt any sentiments," she said in the Lok Sabha.
