Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday hailed the BJP's decisive victory in the Delhi elections, calling it a triumph of governance and development. The BJP is set to form a government in the city after 27 years.
In a post on X, PM Modi expressed gratitude to Delhi’s voters for their overwhelming support. "People’s power is supreme! Development and good governance have won,” he wrote, acknowledging the electorate’s mandate.
"We guarantee that we will leave no stone unturned to ensure the all-round development of Delhi and to make the lives of its people better. Along with this, we will also ensure that Delhi plays an important role in building a developed India," PM Modi said.
PM Modi also lauded BJP workers for their relentless efforts in securing the mandate. "Now we will be even more strongly dedicated to serving our people of Delhi," he added.
