Notification will be issued on January 14 and the last date of nomination is January 21. Scrutiny of nominations will take place on January 22 and the last date of withdrawal of candidature is January 24. "Over 13,000 polling station will be set up and about 90,000 officers will be deployed for the state elections," Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora said. With announcement of the poll dates, the modal code of conduct came into effect from today. The term of the 70-member Delhi Assembly is ending on February 22 and a new House has to be constituted before that.
