The Delhi Police has filed a charge sheet in a court here in a case related to violent protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) at New Friends Colony on December 15 last year and named Sharjeel Imam as an instigator. Sharjeel Imam's name was mentioned in the chargesheet after an accused in the December 15 violence had alleged that he was provoked by Imam's speeches. According to the chargesheet, the police found empty bullet cartridges belonging to 3.2 mm pistol on the spot.
