The Delhi government on Wednesday extended the 'old excise policy' for six months. With the extension, the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has also asked its concerned officials to prepare a new excise policy.
As per the old excise policy, there will be five dry days during these six months, which will be on Mahavir Jayanti, Good Friday, Buddha Purnima, Eid-al-Fitr and Eid-al-Adha, news agency.
The government reverted to its old excise policy in September last year, after withdrawing the excise policy 2021-22.
