The Budget session of the Delhi Assembly will convene on March 17. The Budget of the Delhi government will be presented by AAP Minister Kailash Gahlot in the Assembly. This is for the first time since 2015 that former Delhi deputy CM Manish Sisodia, who was arrested in a corruption case pertaining to the formulation and implementation of the now-scrapped liquor policy for 2021-22, will not be presenting the Budget.
