Delhi Government has today filed an appeal in the National Green Tribunal seeking certain changes in NGT's previous directions related to Odd-Even scheme. The tribunal is likely to hear the plea, tomorrow. The AAP government had said on Saturday that it would file a review petition against the NGT's decision rejecting most exemptions given under the Odd-Even scheme, including those to two-wheelers and women.
Earlier in the day, the NGT today came down heavily on the AAP government for not showing up at the tribunal with a plan to reduce Delhi's air pollution. "Whether the Delhi government was only informing the media about a review petition on the Odd-Even scheme since no review petition has been filed as yet," asked NGT as reported by ANI.
