Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday announced that a Group of Ministers (GoM) will be formed to decide the reductions and tax rates of COVID-19 items and vaccines, which will further be declared by June 8. Chaired by Sitharaman, the 43rd Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council meeting took place on Friday, after a gap of seven months.
