The Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) gives restricted emergency use authorisation to Covaxin for the 6-12 age group. The Hyderabad-based Pharma company Bharat biotech has been asked to submit safety data including the data on adverse events with due analysis every 15 days for the first two months and monthly thereafter up to 5 months by the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI), Sources told ANI. The DCGI to give emergency use authorisation to Corbevax COVID-19 vaccines for 5-12 age group soon, sources said.
