Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said respect for India has increased manifold on the world stage as he received a rapturous welcome by BJP workers on his return from a visit to the US during which he addressed the UN General Assembly session and the “Howdy Modi” diaspora event in Houston where US President Donald Trump also joined him.
At a grand reception organised by BJP for him at Palam technical area, where he landed, Modi recalled the surgical strike against Pakistani terror launch pads across the LoC on its third anniversary.
