Residents of Darjeeling have allegedly started looting shops and cars in search of food. In fact the reason for the worsening situation is that the all-party meeting headed by Gorkha Janamukti Morcha on Thursday extended the indefinite strike by another 12 days i.e. till the next meeting on July 18.
