With efforts at mediation failing, the Supreme Court on Friday decided to commence day-to-day hearing from August 6 on the claims of Hindu and Muslim parties on the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid disputed land in Ayodhya, raising the possibility that an order in the vexed case may come about before CJI Ranjan Gogoi’s term ends in November.
