The Uttarakhand government on Tuesday announced that the Dearness Allowance (DA) for state government employees will be increased to 31% from July 1. State government employees who are admissible in the seventh pay commission will benefit from this decision. The 3% hike in Dearness Allowance will benefit approximately 2.5 lakh employees and pensioners.
